Our goal is to facilitate your service through a simple, fast, secure, and enjoyable transaction process.

By selecting the relevant icon - button, the item you are interested in is added to your shopping cart. This button is universal for any purchase you make while browsing our website. Additionally, you have the option to add items to your wish list to purchase later. At any time, you can place an order directly from your wish list.

After placing your order, a representative will contact you via email (to the email address of your choice) or by phone to confirm your order. If contact is not possible, the order remains pending for 3 business days. Beyond this period, the order is automatically canceled. For your security and to prevent fraudulent orders, it is necessary for the interested party to contact the customer service department by phone after order placement.

Payment Methods

For your convenience, we offer the following payment methods:

1) Cash on Delivery

Available only with cash and subject to legal limits: up to €1500 for individuals or €500 for businesses. For orders over €100, a deposit may be required. A confirmation call will be made before dispatch. Cash on delivery fee: €3.

2) PayPal Payment (*)

Payments via PayPal are subject to the strict transaction terms set by PayPal.

*This payment method incurs a 4% fee per transaction.

3) Credit Card

At www.guruelectrics.gr, we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Diners credit, debit, or prepaid cards.

You can also choose the number of installments for your payment.

All prices include VAT.

Until full payment is received, the goods remain the property of the selling company.

Your order will be shipped after you send us by email at [email protected] the nominal deposit slip, which must necessarily mention the order number as the reason for payment (the time of receipt of the products depends on the date of sending the deposit slip).

Note

According to Tax Law 3842/2010 Article 20 § 3: "Tax documents with a total value of one thousand five hundred (1,500) euros and above, issued for the sale of goods or the provision of services to individuals, must be settled by the recipients, buyers of the goods or services, via a bank, using debit or credit cards, or via a bank account and checks. Payment of these documents in cash is not allowed. Banks are not allowed to charge fees for the deposit of these amounts into bank accounts."

Additionally, tax documents with a total value of five hundred (500) euros and above, issued for the sale of goods or the provision of services to professionals, must be settled by the recipients, buyers of the goods or services, via a bank, using debit or credit cards, or via a bank account and checks. Payment of these documents in cash is not allowed. Banks are not allowed to charge fees for the deposit of these amounts into bank accounts.

Therefore, orders with a value exceeding 1,500 euros, including taxes and other charges for individuals (or 500 euros for professionals), must be paid either by credit card or by bank deposit. For any order with the payment option of bank deposit, see the section above.

How to Use a Coupon-Gift Voucher.     

To use a gift voucher, purchase order, or a coupon from www.guruelectrics.gr, please follow the steps below for redemption:

Add the products you want to order to your shopping cart. In the online order form during checkout, enter the gift voucher, purchase order, or coupon code in the appropriate field and click the <<Confirm Code>> button to apply the discount. Then you can complete your order using your preferred payment method.

Please note that each gift voucher can be used only once, and no change is given for its use.

Using a Coupon

The coupon value includes VAT and is valid for purchases from the online store www.guruelectrics.gr only for specific products labeled <<Coupon>>, and until the expiration date stated on the coupon.

Using a Gift Voucher

The gift voucher value includes VAT and is valid for purchases from the online store www.guruelectrics.gr, for a single order only, and until its expiration date. Please note that each gift voucher can be used only once, and no change is given for its use.

Purchasing with a Discount Coupon

It is explicitly stated that the products available at a discount, as well as the discount amount, are at the sole discretion of www.guruelectrics.gr.

www.guruelectrics.gr reserves the right to modify the products available at a discount, as well as the discount amount, at any time during the coupon’s validity. Additionally, www.guruelectrics.gr bears no responsibility for any changes to the discounted products.

G. Karvelas SA declares that it will fulfill orders based on product availability and until stock depletion, according to the general terms applicable to online sales.

 

Shipping Methods.     

For your convenience, you can choose from the following order collection methods:

For remote areas, the final shipping costs are determined after telephone communication, following the customer’s final acceptance of the transaction.

Shipping Method & Cost (*)

Shipments within Greece are subject to shipping costs:

- Minimum cost of €2.5 including VAT for orders up to 2 kg.

- Minimum cost of €3.3 including VAT for orders up to 3 kg.

- Minimum cost of €4.1 including VAT for orders up to 4 kg.

- Minimum cost of €4.9 including VAT for orders up to 5 kg.

- Minimum cost of €5.7 including VAT for orders up to 6 kg.

- Minimum cost of €6.5 including VAT for orders up to 7 kg.

- Minimum cost of €7.3 including VAT for orders up to 8 kg.

- Minimum cost of €8.1 including VAT for orders up to 9 kg.

- Minimum cost of €8.9 including VAT for orders up to 10 kg.

(*) The above rates are subject to change.

ATTENTION: Remote Areas (RA) are NOT delivered to. Customers must collect their orders from the nearest partner Courier store.

If the courier company we collaborate with does not cover your area, we will send your order by an alternative method at no extra cost to you. Exceptions apply to remote and difficult-to-access areas where pickup must be from a local partner courier store.

If the customer enters incorrect shipping details when placing the order, resulting in a miscalculation of shipping costs, the additional transport costs are borne by the customer. Orders are shipped within ten (10) business days from the date of submission, except in cases of force majeure (strikes, weather conditions, etc.).

 

Special Cases of Shipments and Orders.

In specific cases of orders with large volume or weight, the shipment is carried out using transportation means chosen solely by G. Karvelas SA, while some deliveries may only be possible in large urban areas. G. Karvelas SA reserves the right not to accept certain orders or sales, informing the customer in advance and refunding the total amount of any payment made for the canceled order.

For special categories of products, such as products ordered upon request, high-value products, or those outside the regular stock flow of guruelectrics.gr, a deposit may be required before processing the order.

Order Validity.

Valid orders are those placed from within Greece, and consequently, shipments of goods are made only within the country. Orders can be placed between 09:00 and 17:00 on weekdays, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. If the product is available, the order is shipped the next day; otherwise, it is shipped within ten business days, with costs stated in the corresponding customer information table. If the customer wishes to receive the order sooner, they must contact the company to explore alternative expedited shipping methods.

Estimated Delivery Time and Availability.

Before completing your order, each product displays an estimated delivery time, which is indicative and not binding. Final availability confirmation occurs during order processing and product collection from central warehouses, at which point the shipment schedule is finalized for available products. If products are unavailable, G. Karvelas SA reserves the right to reject the order and sale, refunding any amount paid for the canceled order. Order processing is conducted on working days during business hours.

Order Shipment.

To avoid additional shipping charges, an order is dispatched only when all included products are available.

If you wish to receive only the available products from your order, please call us at 2816-007316 or 2816-007317, providing your order number, or place a separate order for the unavailable items.

Final availability confirmation is completed during order processing and product collection.

Notification in Case of Unavailable Products

For products that are not immediately available but are ordered upon request, we will contact you to inform you of the estimated delivery time. Typically, you will receive an update within three business days from the order date, using the contact details provided during your purchase.

Shipment Handling Upon Product Receipt.

It is explicitly stated that your ordered products are shipped under the responsibility of G. Karvelas SA until they are received at the designated location. If you choose your own shipping company or arrange transport yourself, you assume full responsibility for the shipment.

Upon receiving the goods, you should thoroughly inspect the product and packaging condition for any possible damage incurred during transport.

If you notice any packaging issues, do not accept the shipment and contact us immediately. If a problem is detected after receipt, you must immediately notify the carrier and then inform us accordingly.

Withdrawal & Product Returns.

If the product you purchased falls under one of the following cases, you may request its return under the following conditions:

  1. In case of a technical issue covered by the warranty, you must contact the authorized Service Center.
  2. If the product is non-functional upon receipt and you wish to replace it rather than return it, this may be done under the Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) policy, where applicable.

Right of Withdrawal (Returns).

If you are an individual consumer and your purchase is intended for non-professional use (personal use), you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days by returning the product. The right applies as long as the product and its packaging are in their original condition. The return must be at your own expense within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt. If the return is approved, the full amount paid will be refunded using the same payment method.

Terms & Conditions for Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal must be exercised within 14 calendar days of product receipt and requires no justification from you.

The product and its packaging must be in original condition, including all accessories, gifts, documents, and materials.

If the product value has diminished due to mishandling beyond simple functionality inspection, financial compensation for the reduced value will be deducted from the refund. In cases involving components or spare parts requiring specialized installation, opening the packaging signifies a reduction in value.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Products made to order or custom specifications.
  • Products unsuitable for return due to hygiene reasons if unsealed.
  • Software and digital products.
  • Services already performed.

Return Due to Incorrect Product Delivery

If the delivered product differs from what you ordered, you may return it within 14 calendar days without shipping costs, provided the product is intact and in its original packaging. In this case, return shipping is covered by our company.

Return Due to Incorrect Product Selection

G. Karvelas SA allows product returns even beyond the 14-day withdrawal period or for professional-use purchases, provided the product is intact, unopened, and returned within a reasonable timeframe based on its life cycle. The only possible cost to you may be the shipping charges.

G. Karvelas SA reserves the right to reject any return request without providing justification.

Note: If a returned product is not in its original condition, it cannot be accepted. If a return is approved, reimbursement will be determined based on product condition and current market value after an inspection at our central warehouse.

Shipping Costs: The cost of returning a product is borne by the customer unless otherwise stated.

All returns, except for withdrawal cases, require an inspection before processing refunds or replacements. Refunds may be issued as a gift voucher for future purchases.

The withdrawal request can be sent electronically, by registered mail, or submitted in person at our company headquarters.

All returns take place at our central warehouse: Efessou 5, Heraklion, Crete.

Guarantees-Service.     

All products come with a <> for proper operation, which is offered by the respective manufacturer, covered according to the specifications set by the manufacturer and in approved <> (authorized service-official service centers), and is provided in addition to your legal rights.

Your legal rights, arising from the legal warranty of the product, the provisions of the Civil Code regarding the sale of movable goods and warranties (such as the right of withdrawal from the contract, the right to repair or replacement – unless such action is impossible or requires disproportionate costs – the right to reduce the price), Article 5 of Law 2251/1994 (such as the consumer's right to request temporary replacement of the product if the required repair time for the product under warranty exceeds 15 working days), as well as any other provision regarding consumer protection, are not affected in any way by the commercial warranty provided by the manufacturer of the respective product. The www.guruelectrics.gr holds full responsibility and undertakes all obligations set by law and its provisions regarding your rights as a consumer.

NOTICE: In the event that the product you have just received is damaged during transport, refer to the "Shipping Methods" section.

Shipments to and from repair centers are always at your own cost and responsibility, unless a special procedure is provided by the manufacturer.

 

OFFICIAL SERVICE.

If the product experiences a technical problem within the warranty period, contact the specific <> designated by the manufacturer for the coverage of the commercial warranty.

The authorized service can inform you about all the details regarding the commercial warranty of the product as well as the repair procedure.

Contact the authorized service for information regarding:

  1. The duration of the product's commercial warranty
  2. The repair procedure
  3. Where the repair can be done

If a product experiences a technical issue within the warranty period, contact the manufacturer-approved "Service Center" for the coverage of the Commercial Warranty.

INFORMATION

When contacting the Service Center, have the exact model of the product and its serial number (refer to the user manual that accompanies the product) and the proof of purchase, as they may be requested.

Procedure

To use the DOA option, where applicable, by the manufacturer, you must follow the procedure exactly as described by the manufacturer.

In any case, for DOA returns, the product must be accompanied by: a) a copy of the "Proof of Purchase", b) all accessories, c) a Return Form (which details the problem).

If the manufacturer requires prior diagnosis of the defect and approval for replacement by an authorized service before initiating the DOA process, it will be accepted only if the relevant approval from the service has been obtained.

Note: The DOA process may be subject to the manufacturer's approval even after the product has been received at our central warehouse, and the shipment of the product to the "authorized service" for repair, as well as the transportation costs, are at your expense.

 

DOA Replacement Process.     

For some products, in addition to the law's rights, commercial replacement due to DOA (Dead-On-Arrival) is also provided.

This option is provided by the manufacturer and is valid for a specific period from the purchase date, usually lasting a few days (from 3 to 30 days depending on the manufacturer).

If the product qualifies for the DOA service and you wish to use it, you must follow the procedure set by the manufacturer within the specified time frame.

If replacement is required rather than repair, the product is sent to the official authorized service selected by the manufacturer for inspection and approval for replacement, in accordance with the DOA policy set by the manufacturer. Due to some manufacturers providing support at your location, it is important to contact the warranty provider beforehand to be informed of any additional warranty options offered by the manufacturer.
