Withdrawal & Product Returns

If the product you purchased falls under one of the following cases, you can request its return, which will be processed according to the following:

In case of a technical problem and warranty coverage: you should contact the authorized Service Centre. For more information, see the relevant paragraph (Warranties-Service) link in the related tab.

 In case the product does not work at the time of receipt and you wish to have it replaced with a new one rather than returned: for the replacement of the defective product, and specifically in cases where the manufacturer has a specific replacement procedure called Dead-On-Arrival or “DOA,” refer to the Warranties-Service paragraph link in the related tab.

 

Right of Withdrawal (Return). 

If you are a natural person (consumer) and your purchase is for non-professional use, i.e., intended for personal use, you are entitled to withdraw within 14 calendar days by returning the product. The right to return applies as long as the product is in its original condition, as well as its packaging.

Additionally, the return of the product is at your cost within 14 calendar days from the day of receipt (whether you return it yourself or send it with a carrier of your choice). Once your return is approved, we will refund the full amount you paid for the specific purchase in the same manner in which you paid.

 

Terms and Conditions for Exercising the Right of Withdrawal.         

The right of withdrawal can be exercised within fourteen (14) calendar days from the receipt of the product to be considered timely and without the need for additional justification from you.

If the right of withdrawal is deemed valid, the necessary condition is that the product and its packaging are in their original condition and include all accessories, any gifts, accompanying products, documents, and materials.

In the event that the goods have lost their value due to improper handling, which goes beyond a simple examination of the functionality and features of the product, compensation must be provided for the decrease in its value. In this case, the specific financial compensation will be deducted from the amount we return to you. You will be informed of this before the credit and refund process is completed.

Specifically, in the case of components and spare parts where the material requires appropriate expertise for both its selection and installation, and which cannot function as a standalone device, it is considered that opening its packaging automatically means it has lost part of its commercial value. In the event of a withdrawal, it will be credited upon receipt of the merchandise at our central warehouses.

 

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal. 

Cases where the right of withdrawal does not apply under the applicable laws and jurisprudence include: products that have been made for you with your specifications or have been ordered for you, or products that are not suitable for return for health reasons once they have been unsealed, software programs, and services that have already been performed.

 

Return Due to Delivery of Wrong Product. 

If the goods we sent you are different from what you ordered, you can return them within fourteen (14) calendar days from the purchase date without any shipping charges. The return of the product in this case can only be made if the product is intact and in the original packaging. Shipping costs: the return for these specific cases is at our company’s expense.

 

Return Due to Wrong Product Choice. 

G. Karvelas S.A. gives you the opportunity to request the return of the product you selected to purchase even after the 14 calendar days during which the right of withdrawal applies or even if the purchase is for professional use rather than personal use. However, this opportunity is available only if the product is intact, the packaging is unopened, and the return is made within a reasonable time frame according to the product's life cycle.

In any case, G. Karvelas S.A. reserves the right to reject any return request without the obligation to justify this decision.

 

Note. 

It is emphasized that in cases where the returned product is not in its original condition, it cannot be returned. In case any return of the product is accepted, the company will pay part of the price, which will be determined for the specific case according to the condition of the merchandise and its current commercial value, after checking its condition at our central warehouses.

Shipping costs: the cost of shipping the product for return as well as the transport costs are borne by the customer.

In the aforementioned cases, except for the withdrawal, replacement or credit will be made after the returned goods have been checked and it has been determined, after inspection, that they are subject to replacement or credit according to the above. The return of the paid price or part of it, if it is subject to a reduction of the returned amount, will be made by issuing a Gift Voucher for the next purchase.

The withdrawal request can be sent electronically or by registered letter to our company, or you can submit it in person to our company's headquarters.
